Write everyday they say. I’m a poor writer. I prefer to speak. I’ll walk a block down the campus to tell them something I could easily e-mail. I am a horrible speller and no good english talker when it comes to grammer. I feel more comfortable showing you how I feel than writing how I feel. I wonder why that is…

September 10th baby boom…

My wife and I have just become pregnant after 3 years of trying. We have several friends who are pregnant now or are trying. One of our friends just gave birth. She had a C-section on Sept. 10th. When I asked what time she was scheduled, I was supprised to hear how late in the evening she was schedlued. “Why so late?” I asked. “No one wants to deliver on Sept. 11th” the father said.

This was the first year I didn’t do something personal to observe 9/11. It just got past me. Honestly I didn’t even think about it till my friend said what he did. Now before I address this I should state that I don’t think my friend felt the sentiment he expressed. It was just time for his wife to deliver.

I would want my kid delivered on 9/11. I would rather celebrate his birth than others death. Besides if we simply want to think in American terms, I can’t think of anything more annoying to our nations enemys’ than another Hedinger in the world.
